NEW HOME FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER
I Giving
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe God has left clear instructions on how we (His Children) should Give. We believe that the instructions are as follows:
1. Tithe - 10% of Income and or Increase. This is taught in:
a) Genesis 28:20-22 (Before the Law)
b) Malachi 3:8-10 (Under the Law)
c) Matthew 23:23 (Jesus who came to endorse and explain the Law)
2. Offering - It is any amount, beyond the tithe.
We believe that it is given under the guidance of The Holy Spirit.
This is taught in (II Corinthians 9:6-8.)
3. Freewill Offerings - These are those monies that are asked for to
meet a specific goal and objective that may arise unexpectedly or
that is not a part of the yearly budget. This is taught in (Exodus 36:3-5)
It is our prayer that the people of God, when given the Facts (Truth) about Biblical Giving, they will Obey.
II Holy Bible
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that the Holy Bible is the Inerrant, Inspired, Unequivocal pure Word of God and that it contains all that one needs to know in order to live a Righteous, Holy, Productive and Fruitful Life. (Matthew 4:4) We believe The Holy Bible has at its core four essentials that are Profitable Applicable Truths: (II Timothy 3:16)
1. Doctrine - What's Right
2. Reproof - What's Wrong
3. Correction - How To Get Right
4. Instruction - How To Stay Right
We believe that the Holy Bible is the Final Authority on how every matter in the Local Assembly (Church) should be handled. We believe that as the Word of God is taught, the people of God are Empowered and Equipped to Impact the world for our Lord Jesus Christ.
III *The God Head
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe There is only one God, but in Unity of the God Head there are Three Eternal and Co-Equal Persons who are the same in substance but distinct in subsistence. (Genesis 1:1) {Elohim, A plural word for God} (II Corinthians 13:14; I Timothy 3:16)
*God the Father
Whose purpose is to Protect, Provide, and Give Purpose:
1. Father over all creation (Acts 17:29)
2. Father of the Nation Israel (Exodus 4:22)
3. Father of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:17)
4. Father of believers in Christ (Galatians 3:26)
*God The Son
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that Jesus' purpose is to be Saviour of the world. (John 3:16) He is Lord of All, (Philippians 2:10-11) He is the example of how to live as a child of God. (Philippians 2:5) He was born of a virgin, (Matthew 1:23) He lived a sinless life, (Hebrews 4:15) He died for the sins of the world, (John 1:29; I John 2:2) He rose again from the dead in bodily form, (John 20:26-29) He is the only way to have a relationship with the Father. (John 1:12; John 14:6)
*God The Holy Spirit
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that God The Holy Spirit's purpose is to indwell and infill ( empower) the believers so that the believers can live a safe, sanctified, and satisfying life, as well as possess the supernatural power to achieve a God like results in life and ministry.
a) He indwells at the moment of conversion.
(Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 6:19)
b) He empowers the believers to accomplish their God given
assignment. (Acts 1:8)
c) He produces Spiritual Fruit in the believers as they willingly and
consistently yield to Him in obedience.
(Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16-23)
d) He gives spiritual gifts to believers, based on their assignment in the
body of Christ. (Romans 12:3-8; I Corinthians 12:1-11)
IV Church Government
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that Church Government involves how the church is run and ruled. The scripture explains clearly that the Lord Jesus is both the Head and Owner of the Church. (Ephesians 5:23; Matthew 16:18) Therefore the governing body can never be in control, only in charge. The body consist of the senior pastor or pastor's and selected elders that are in good and regular standing with the local church. (Jeremiah 3:15; II Timothy 3:17) The body has the authority to correct, challenge, and change any practice that enhances or impedes the progress of the church. Also, the church leadership, when needed can excommunicate, any member who poses a threat to the congregation spiritually, physically, financially, or morally. (Matthew 18:15-20; I Corinthians 5:9-13) The above action is only done when a member refuses to repent and align themselves with the Word of God, as taught by the church.
V Charity
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe the Bible teaches us that The sign of being born again is our willingness to display consistent Love for one another (John 13:35; Romans 12:9-10; I John 3:14; I John 4:20) Therefore we make it a requirement that a portion of all monies received goes to both home and foreign missions; thereby enabling the less fortunate to have their needs met:
1. Spiritually
2. Physically
3. Emotionally, Psychologically, and Socially
It is required of members to have this mindset.
VI Discipleship
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that Jesus teaches his followers that they should not only witness to the lost about Christ, but that they should also educate and equip those who are won to Christ. (Acts 1:8) Hence, we strive to build through practical expositional teaching of the Word of God believers who are not only fans but followers of Jesus Christ and cause them to be doers and not hearers only. This results in the believers, living in abundance and fruitfulness in all areas. (Matthew 28:16-20; Romans 1:16)
VII Evangelism
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe evangelism is the willingness to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We make it unequivocally clear that the only way individuals can come into a relationship with God the Father is through Jesus Christ. We practice this through compelling our words and being convinced through our lifestyle, that Jesus Christ is the best thing that can happen to an individual regardless of their age, race, gender or belief.
(John 14:6; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8)
VIII Miracles
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe a miracle is the supernatural intervention of Almighty God in human affairs. We believe that God is still performing miracles today. We teach however, that miracles are never done so that people can escape responsibility, but rather they are done by God as He wills for those who through every human effort have done all they can and yet stand in need of more. We resolve that though God can, He will not always choose to give a miracle. Sometimes He gives strength to endure. But by miracle or not, He will see to it that every need of His children are met.
(Mark 9:38-41; Acts 19:11-12
IX Salvation
We, The New Home Family Worship Center, Believe that Salvation is the divine deliverance plan for human beings to get them out and from under the Penalty, and Power of sin. This has been done through the Redemptive work of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24) On Calvary, Jesus died for the sins of the world, He was buried, and He rose again. ( I Corinthians 15:3-4) This act {which is called the Gospel} satisfied God's Justice and Law, Hence paying the sin debt in full, while at the same time offering a New Life to all who would believe and accept. (Romans 6:23) We believe that because we did nothing to attain this deliverance, {it is all the work of Christ} there is nothing we can do to maintain this deliverance. We are permanently, eternally secure, in our state. To think anything less is to insult and dilute the power of Jesus Christ's Death, Burial and Resurrection!
